RacingTime 1st Virtual Car Exhibition in Decentraland

Greeting, our fellow 🏎💨 ers and Decentraland citizens.

Today, we are super excited to announce the opening of RacingTime’s 1st Virtual Car Exhibition in Decentraland.

Time: Oct 15th - Oct 25th (10 days)

Location: 100, 16

I know, I know. You guys probably just want to skip all the foreplays and jump straight into the Pre-sale to get your hands on those supercar NFTs. Believe me, we are as stoked as you are.

The thing is, currently the team is still working on improving the UI/UX front in order to make sure that you guys can have the smoothest possible experience participating in the pre-sale. In order to buy some time for our devs and make sure that they can work comfortably in the backend, the marketing team members are frying their brains right now coming up with fun events to make the waiting of community less painful.

Here it comes. A virtual car exhibition. Probably not as good as having sports cars in your Blocto wallet, but at least you can get a first-hand experience on how these baby beasts would look like in real game.

I promise you it would be a pretty cool experience even if you were not so keen on decentraland/sandbox previously. There will be a show room, a large LOGO wall, 2 cars (our time is quite limited). And we even prepared a POAP machine!

Interact with the POAP machine and you will get a really well-designed POAP medal as your proof of attendance to the 1st RacingTime Virtual Car Exhibition.

We don’t want to spoil all the fun, so no sneak peek here.

In case you don’t have any prior experience with Decentraland before, here’s a short guide on how to start your trip in Decentraland and where to find our exhibition:

1. You will need to have either FireFox or Chrome browser that equipped with Metamask extension in your computer. Get your ethereum mainnet address ready. Here is a guide on the process.
2. Click on this link that will direct you to the RacingTime Virtual Car Exhibition location in Decentraland. (If it’s your first time using Decentraland, you will need to create a character before entering the virtual world, it’s really fun)
3. If the link above doesn’t direct you right to the exhibition site, you probably will be able to see a yellow race car on the road in front of you. Follow the car and you will be able to get to the exhibition.
4. Start exploring!

By the way, a 3rd round campaign event will be held along with our Virtual Car Exhibition. The rule is like this:

During the initial 3 days of the exhibition, take a screenshot of yourself with the super cars exhibited in the showroom (you can’t really see yourself in Decentraland but that is fine, or you can ask someone else to take a picture for you) and quote retweet our exhibition announcement tweet with the picture you took + a sentence or two about how do you think about the exhibition or RacingTime in general. No copypasta please.

We will select 200 creative (or just nice) participants and like their retweets. If your retweet has been liked by RacingTime official twitter account, provide your Flow address in the comment section. We will gather all the info and send out OG paints to the 200 selected participants after the event concludes.

Also $1,000 worth of FLOW token will be given to 50 participants ($20 each) that said the most genuine thing about RacingTime in their retweet. Things like “Excellent and great projects sir.. This is so amazing I am impressed with this project hopefully with this event the community and especially this coin will achieve success.🚀” are definitely won’t be selected so please just be yourself.
