It’s time to migrate your RacingTime NFTs! (with Tutorial)
If you were one of the participants in our BlindBox Presale or if you have tried to purchase RacingTime NFT from BloctoBay/Rarible, you’ve probably noticed that RacingTime NFTs were not minted from its own contract and therefore not listed on NFT marketplace within its own category.
This makes trading RacingTime NFTs on secondary market extremely problematic because they are mixed with NFTs from other projects and there wasn’t an efficient way to search for the NFT you are looking for.
The reason for this inconvenience is that at the time of RacingTime Presale, we minted all of our NFTs using MyNFT’s general minting contract instead of our own. This was a standard measure back then, and given that at the time we hadn’t fully tested out all functionalities of our contract, we decided it would be a safer way to launch our projects.
Now it’s time to migrate!
In preparation for the upcoming launch of Beta 3.0 (with full NFT integration) and of RacingTime NFT market, we’ve updated our own contract and completed a thorough audit for it. Now we are ready to have all NFTs from the Presale to be migrated onto the new contract that is more compatible with the broader RacingTime ecosystem.
Step-By-Step Guide on NFT migration
First, go to RacingTime official website and log in to your RacingTime account. After doing so, you will be able connect your Blocto wallet from the dropdown menu below the account icon:
You will see a Blocto wallet pop-up asking for authorization after clicking the “Connect Wallet” button.
After successfully connecting your Blocto wallet, a new inventory window will pop up showing your current holding of RacingTime NFTs. Click on the “Swap NFT” button on the right side of the window:
After clicking the button, all RacingTime NFTs that haven’t been migrated yet will show up in the inventory.
Click on the “Swap Asset” button on the lower right corner:
You will then need to select all the NFTs that you want to migrate to the new contract (meaning ALL OF THEM!):
After selection, click “Confirm Swap”:
Another Blocto wallet window will pop up asking your to confirm the asset migration.
Then you are done!
You will be able to see the new NFTs minted by RacingTime official contract replacing old NFTs in a few minutes within your Blocto wallet.
Please make sure to go through the migration process before the launch of Beta 3.0, or else you will not be able to use them within the game.
