Introducing FANTACY: An Entry Level Racing Car for newbies
As RacingTime Beta App 3.0 soon approaching (in a month or so), it’s important to notify all newly qualified racers that we will be officially implementing NFT integration into our system with this update. That means from Beta 3.0 forward, all the incentivized testing and racing competitions will only be eligible for Race Car NFT holders.
At this point, the only car NFTs in existence are from our Mystery Box Presale happened in October 2021, and if unfortunately you didn’t participate in that presale, the only way to acquire a car NFT is through purchasing on secondary market.
Given the fact that our community is growing at a crazy pace and that the number of Racing Car NFTs on the market is quite limited, we decided that issuing a common car NFT with larger supply would be more beneficial for both marketing and our game’s growth.
That’s where FANTACY comes into picture.
FANTACY is a B level car with 10,000 supply. 100% of the supply will be given out for free through different kinds of events and activities organized by RacingTime, our partner projects and guilds.
This is a marketing strategies purely to attract more people to try out our game and we definitely don’t want to make this into another sale just for some quick buck.
See FANTACY as an entry ticket we are giving out to new-comers who are excited to play around the RacingTime ecosystem. After the launch of Beta 3.0, we are going to organize weekly race competition with RTT rewards, plus global championships that can potentially win you whitelist spot for our IDO.
If you want to participate in any of these events, you will need to hold a FANTACY NFT to start with (not if you already hold car NFT from our presale of course).
The first event of the FANTACY series will be announced tomorrow (alpha: you might want to start recording some of your racing video with our Beta App 2.0), and we already have a list of different NFT projects and partner guilds lining up ready to distribute their share of FANTACY NFTs to their community as well.
If you are one of the early community members who participated in RacingTime presale, please don’t feel you are being betrayed. Not only are your A level — SS level cars much rarer that FANTACY, they will have better performance as well. Plus, we’ve hinted on a potential RTT airdrop to you guys more than a few times already as well. we will keep our word.
