RacingTime Pre-sale TL;DR

• The Pre-sale will happen on Oct 21st 3 p.m. UTC at https://www.racing-time.com
• There will be 3 tiers of Mystery Box available: Platinum, Gold and Diamond
• 6000 Platinum, 3000 Gold and 1000 Diamond Mystery Boxes will be available for purchase respectively at $49, $119 and $399 each.
• Each Mystery Box, regardless of tiers, will contain: 1x Car, 1x Tail Spoiler, 1x Hub, 1x Exterior Spoiler, 1x Exhaust Funnel, 1x Paint (Rarity may differ, see distribution detail below)
• Up to 10 Mystery Boxes can be bought in a single transaction.
• The Pre-sale will last for 72 hours, or until the time we sold out. All the remaining unsold mystery boxes will be burnt permanently.
• Both $FLOW and $fUSD will be supported as payment methods. Make sure you have enough $FLOW or $fUSD in your Blocto wallet at the time of pre-sale.
• The snapshot for $FLOW price will be taken exactly 2 hours prior to the RacingTime Presale, that price will then be used for sale price conversion. (More on this below)
• A 10% premium fee will be applied for $FLOW payment due to the current market condition.

Pre-sale duration

The pre-sale will last for 72 hours starting Oct 21st 3 p.m. UTC. Anytime within the 72-hour window, you can direct to our official website https://www.racing-time.com/ and participate in the mystery boxes section. Any unsold mystery boxes after the 72-hour window will be burnt.

What can you expect from purchasing each tier of Mystery Box?

No matter which tier of Mystery Box you are planning to purchase, you can expect to get a full car set including 1 car and 5 different parts used for modification: Tail Spoiler, Hub, Exterior Spoiler, Exhaust Funnel, Paint.

There will be 3 levels of rarity for cars and all accessories excluding paints: A, S and SS. A level is the commonest and SS is the rarest. As a general rule, the higher tier Mystery Box you are purchasing, the higher chance you will be able to get your hands on cars and accessories that are rarer.

Below is a breakdown on the probability of getting cars/accessories of each rarity level:

However, please note that while there will be only one car in each mystery box, a mystery box might contain 4 accessories all with different rarities. For example, if you purchased a gold Mystery Box, it might include an S level Tail Spoiler, an A level Hub, an SS level Exterior Spoiler and an A level Exhaust Funnel.

You should see the diagram above as a generalized probability for NFT distribution, rather than an arbitrary promise that you will get from purchasing a certain number of mystery boxes.

How many Mystery Boxes can you buy through the pre-sale?

In order to prevent whales from buying up all the supply in a short period of time and for our early supporters to have a chance to get their hands on the most limited edition sports cars that will ever be produced by RacingTime, we decide to implement a 10 mystery boxes per transaction limit on all the pre-sale participants.

Prepare your Blocto wallet with FLOW/fUSD token

RacingTime will support both FLOW and fUSD as payment methods for the upcoming Mystery Box pre-sale.

If this is your first time experience on FLOW blockchain, you will need to get your FLOW address first.

Go to https://port.onflow.org/ and do a quick email sign-up. You will have two wallet options to store your FLOW/fUSD token: Blocto, the native bank grade custodial FLOW wallet, or Ledger, the №1 choice for hardware wallet.

Once you finish the sign-up, you will be automatically assigned a flow address in Blocto wallet. You can find your FLOW address on the Blocto dashboard here:

You have a few options to acquire FLOW/fUSD tokens:

1. Purchasing FLOW tokens through a centralized exchange (Binance, Kraken, Huobi, KuCoin etc.) and send them over to your FLOW address.
2. Purchasing FLOW/fUSD tokens through Moonpay with credit card. In order to do this, you will first need to download Blocto APP here.
3. You can also choose to bridge your USDT on Ethereum over to FLOW using BloctoSwap teleport service and purchase FLOW/fUSD tokens on BloctoSwap with tUSDT, the teleported USDT token.

What the price will be if I decide to use FLOW token for payment?

The prices of Mystery Boxes are dominated in USD value. If you decide to use FLOW token for your payment, the amount of FLOW you need to pay will be decided 2 hours prior to the Mystery Box pre-sale based on the USD value of each FLOW token at that time.

Please note that there will be 10% premium you need to pay if you decide to use FLOW your as payment method considering the current market condition.

For example, let’s say you want to purchase a Gold mystery box which is priced at $119. Paying with FLOW will subject you with a 10% premium fee, so you will need to pay the amount of FLOW token equivalent to $131. At Oct 21st 1 p.m. UTC (2 hours prior to pre-sale), the FLOW price is at $15. Then the amount of FLOW you will need to pay for one Gold mystery box will be fixed at 8.73 Flow/Gold mystery box, regardless of the price movement afterwards.

Even if FLOW price dropped to $10 (which is highly unlikely), the amount of FLOW you need to pay for one Gold mystery box will remain the same. The same logic applies to the scenario where FLOW price sky-rockets to, let’s say, $25.

We will announce the fixed FLOW price for each tier of mystery boxes on all of our social media soon after the 2-hour-prior threshold has been passed.

Anything more we can expect from participating in the pre-sale?

Short answer will be: Yes. A whole lot more.

We prepared something really fun for the pre-sale participants (with rewards, of course) during or shortly after the pre-sale. Can’t disclose more details yet but you know, as we always say: we will never let the early supporters down.
